Core Salon Terms and Conditions 2025
Booking and Deposits: State that all appointments must be confirmed with a deposit (e.g., 25-50% of the service cost or a flat fee). Clearly define that these deposits are generally non-refundable if cancellation terms are not met.
Cancellation Policy: Request a minimum notice (typically 24 to 48 hours) for rescheduling or cancellations.
Example Fee Structure: Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee of 50% of the service cost, while no-shows are often charged 100%.
Late Arrivals: Establish a grace period (e.g., 15 minutes). Arrivals beyond this window may result in a shortened service or forfeiture of the appointment with a late fee.
Health and Safety: Require clients to disclose allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions prior to treatment. Reserve the right to refuse service if these conditions pose a risk.
Refunds and Adjustments: Note that services are non-refundable. Offer a "re-do" policy where clients can request adjustments within a short timeframe (e.g., 3 to 7 days) if dissatisfied.
Liability Waiver: Include a clause stating the salon is not liable for reactions to products if the client failed to disclose relevant health information.
Privacy and Data: Inform clients how their personal and payment data is stored and used, ensuring it is not shared with third parties.
